Park Blvd Artworks welcomes Steve Lawrence to the building. Steve’s studio is #206 in the upstairs South side of the building just next to the Borrelli Space Gallery. Steve describes his work this way:
My art is and always has been abstract in nature. Even if there is a suggestion of a landscape or other image it is my hope that the viewer will discover what their imagination creates. There is no right or wrong interpretation rather when I paint, it is the creative process unfolding for me and I hope the viewers will find themselves in that experience as well. Painting for me is both a creative struggle and a satisfying experience whose results are their own reward. I believe that I have created an innovative technique that best expresses the beauty and pain that we all experience in different ways. Painting for me is a way to master those feelings and the manifestation of what words cannot express. I hope you enjoy the experience of seeing my work. — Steve Lawrence

Hi Toby!
Just saw your post (12/5/11). Thank you for your encouragement and friendship. I guess I should check this site more often. Be well!
Cheers,
Steve
I wish you the best in your art endeavors. I will be coming by to visit you again soon
Take care Steve.

Dear Steve,
It looks wonderful! I’ve abstracted your statement; I plan to edit it. YOu look very happy, indeed, to have your own studio to work in at last. I am sure that you will do wonderful and exciting pieces as you grow accustomed to your space (My Fair Lady). I hope you are well. We’re okay here. I have a second teaching job (English) at the local ITT.
Love,
Toby
